fading hellebores

Every year, they emerge early from winter and produce their amazingly luscious blooms and weirdly interesting leaves, but they wont let you treat them as cut flowers and bring them indoors. And you had better put them in the right spot when you plant them, as they do not take kindly to being moved to what you might think is a better spot. I can’t get enough of them so I’ve tried to capture them as they move towards this year’s ending.
